The Diploma of Project Management (BSB51407) reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of a team. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting.

The Diploma program requires a total of 9 units of competency, all of which are directly related to Project Management. Units of study deal with the scope, timeframe, costs, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement and coordination of a project.

There are a number of options available for the delivery of training. This includes workplace-based training, online study, and a blended approach. In any mode of delivery, participants receive coaching and support from experienced Academy facilitators.

Learning and assessment activities can be  integrated directly into workplace tasks and duties where opportunities exist.  This provides a benefit to both the employee and the employer.

The program delivers key underpinning knowledge and skills that are portable across any industry.

Job outcomes include Project Leader, Project Management Facilitator and Project or Program Administrator.
