The Diploma of Business provides nationally recognised training that reflects the role of individuals with substantial experience in a range of business settings. Training will assist participants to further develop their skills and knowledge to create and enhance educational, employment and business opportunities.

Program participants have a wide range of choice in advertising, business administration, human resource management, marketing and management. Training provided focuses on developing knowledge and skills to identify and enhance business opportunities, and to provide expertise to manage typical business problems.

The qualification requires a total of 8 competency units but no more than 3 units from any one area (see overleaf).

There are a number of options available for the delivery of training. This includes workplace-based training, study at home, and a blended approach. In any mode of delivery, participants receive coaching and support from experienced Academy facilitators.

Learning and assessment activities can be  integrated directly into workplace tasks and duties where opportunities exist.  This provides a benefit to both the employee and the employer. In addition, training participants receive study materials that provide readings, exercises, activities and quizzes.

The program delivers key underpinning knowledge and skills that are portable across all industries.
