Training covers workplace heath and safety law, contributing to hazard identification and control, participating in OHS consultative processes, and contribute to emergency prevention activities. A total of 12 units is required and the flexibility of the program affords the opportunity to tailor the training to the specific needs of your business. The program comprises 17 training days delivered in your workplace over 12 months. Australian Management Academy facilitators work with participants through individual and group discussion, coaching, practical activities and work-based assignments. Persons with experience may be entitled to claim for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This process requires the applicant to supply evidence of skills and knowledge gained through work history and/or formal training that indicates a competency has been already attained.
