The Certificate III program is a nationally recognised training program that provides for plant operators and support workers in a manufacturing environment.

Participants will develop skills and knowledge to participate in workplace OHS procedures, make measurements, clean plant and equipment, prepare for production, set up and tune a process, monitor and maintain quality, apply 5S procedures in their workplace and many nore important aspects of work.

A total of 20 units of competency are required and the course is structured as follows:

• Core units (7 units)
• Operations Units (4 units)
• Lean manufacturing (5 units)
• Support units (4 units)

The flexibility of the program affords the opportunity to tailor the training to the specific needs of your business.

The program comprises 17 training days delivered in your workplace over 12 months. 

Learning and assessment activities take advantage of normal work tasks, and therefore provide a benefit to both employee and employer. Learners are able to apply the knowledge as they learn.

Your Australian Management Academy facilitators work with you through individual and group discussion, coaching, practical activities and work based assignments.
