Australian Qualifications

   

Injection MouldingThis nationally recognised qualification is for advanced operators and technicians who undertake start up, monitoring and shut down procedures, and who are expected to apply their knowledge of production processes to anticipate and solve a range of foreseen and unforeseen problems.

The course provides opportunities for multi skilling and up-skilling of machine operators in die changing, production processes, troubleshooting, maintenance and process optimisation.

The program requires a total of 21 units of competency to be completed. The recommended course structure (see reverse side) can be tailored to meet the needs of your business.

Australian Management Academy facilitators deliver group sessions that typically take place on 16 days, spread over a period of 12 months.  The learning is integrated into the workplace tasks and duties of participants.

Learning and assessment activities include group discussions, practical activities, coaching and work based assignments. The program delivers key knowledge and skills that enable your staff to identify and minimise defective products, overproduction, production delays, waste, ineffective materials handling, transportation and inventory control.
