Extractive Industry OperationsThe Certificate II program provides training that reflects the role of employees in extractive industries operations who undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and who take some responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.

The program covers a broad range of skills including occupational health and safety, communication, winning ore and processing.

All aspects of the program are competency based and adhere to nationally recognised standards.

Participants must successfully complete a total of eight (8) units of competency.

The program is delivered in your workplace approximately every 3 weeks, with additional coaching to support the workplace learning activities over an 8 to 10 month period.

Learning and assessment activities take advantage of normal work tasks, and therefore provide a benefit to both employee and employer. Learners are able to apply the knowledge as they learn.

Your Australian Management Academy facilitators work with you through individual and group discussion, coaching, practical activities and work based assignments.
